Not only does she play the funkiest of funkiest tracks, she will even give you a knowing nod and a pat on the head when you request the new Miley Cyrus song. NZ Music Month Kicks Off At Britomart
Make sure you’re at Britomart on Saturday 1 May. First Bang Bang Eche and The Transistors play a free gig in the Union Fish Building to launch of NZ Music Month. Then bStreet 2010 will rock the precinct with 12 bFM bands and DJs playing three Britomart venues. More info and the chance to score a free bCard here.
As part of the celebrations of Brazil’s National Day, Brazilian theatre group Pinus Ploft will be performing the play The Box Woman – Kunhã Patuguá. Directly from Brazil, we welcome director and actor Darci Figueiredo, as well as actors Daniel Alves, Joana Curvo (the “Box Woman”) and Lina Agifu. All presentations are free and for people of all ages! The play will be performed at Britomart today in the Britomart Car Park 5.30-6.45pm
