From midday till midnight, on Friday October 16th, the folks at OH.NO.SUMO and their wonderful helpers will be selling delicious cupcakes from a pavilion, constructed entirely of corrugated cardboard, at the Britomart precinct. All to raise money for the Starship Foundation. This event is part of Architecture Week ‘09.

As part of the celebrations of Brazil’s National Day, Brazilian theatre group Pinus Ploft will be performing the play The Box Woman – Kunhã Patuguá. Directly from Brazil, we welcome director and actor Darci Figueiredo, as well as actors Daniel Alves, Joana Curvo (the “Box Woman”) and Lina Agifu. Britomart Train Station got the green treatment over the weekend, with 1250sqm of grass lining the platforms for a milk commercial. And once filming was over the grass was donated to a local school. Isn’t that nice. Cheers to craigsydnz for the pics.

Auto Garage Art Project
